Hi

Can anyone help? I have just been given a form for my Grand-dad and it looks like he was tired by D.G.M? Can anyone tell me what this is? Also are there any records of this and where can i get them from.

Really appreciate any help

Many thanks

Hi garethf ( If your man was from 28 Russell St.Cardiff )

I think your man can be found on Ancestry under Pte William Farrell Serv.Number 50491,you can get his service records and you can see your lad,how shall we say ? had a liking for time away from the army.

all the best Gary.
