What can you tell me about this soldier?

Hey everyone.

I was recently going through some old stuff and came across this postcard of a singular solider. The postcard has nothing written on the back bar "c coy" which im guessing is C company. Im unsure whether its from WW1 or if its from a soldier in peacetime after the war.

I can tell from the cap badge that is the cambridgeshire regiment but thats about it. Can anyone tell me anything else about this soldier from the uniform etc?

He appears to have what could be a drummers badge on his right arm which I think is consistent with the large lanyard type thingy! over his right shoulder. I seem to remember that the drummers in my old school CCF (many, many years ago) wore such things.
