Regulus 1 Posted 10 October , 2012 Share Posted 10 October , 2012 Hi, In TSTB Trevor Henshaw wrote about this date that in the evening there was a massive fight between Fokkers and 22and 24 Sqdn planes. Does someone have any information at all on the claims and locations ? I'm trying to find out who shot down Otto Parschau. Sincere thanks ! topgun1918 Posted 11 October , 2012 Share Posted 11 October , 2012 Johan The 24 Sqn claim late in the evening of 21 July 1916 was made by 2nd Lt H C Evans in DH2 5924. This is listed as a two-seater but I have a question mark against it. The combat was timed at 20:25 (British time) over Combles. I have Parschau's loss linked with the claim by 2nd Lt G H Hackwill + 2nd Lt W B Parsons, No 22 Sqn, in FE2b 5214; they claimed a Roland (?) at 20:00 (British time) west of Beaulencourt.
