AlisonS Posted 16 December , 2012 Share Posted 16 December , 2012 Can you please tell me if the z24th trench mortar battery would be part of the 24th brigade 8th division? I am looking into STYLES, T G Rank:Gunner Service No:66036 Date of Death:17/11/1916 Regiment/Service:Royal Field Artillery attd. 824th Trench Mortar Bty Awards:M M Unfortunately his service records seem to have been destroyed so only have limit info. He was buried VILLERS STATION CEMETERY, VILLERS-AU-BOIS which I believe may have been near a Canadian clearing station. I don't really know much more about what was happening around this time but there are a couple of other buried near him who were from the z24th bty. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be great. Alison
