hillgorilla Posted 25 September , 2012 Share Posted 25 September , 2012 Hi, Does anyone have any experience of the Whytschaete walk? I have seen reference to it on the internet, but can't find any route maps, or any reviews about it.

egbert Posted 25 September , 2012 Share Posted 25 September , 2012 I shut up now- cannot contribute with Wytschaete walking advice except visiting German Bayernwald trenches might be interesting.
roel22 Posted 25 September , 2012 Share Posted 25 September , 2012 Google "Wijtschate" ( ) and "walk" (or the Dutch translation "wandeling") and you'll find several walks & corresponding maps you can do around Wijtschate. Except for Bayernwald there's several large craters and cemeteries to be seen there. Roel
Mick D Posted 26 September , 2012 Share Posted 26 September , 2012 I bought a small spiral bound map from Ypres covering the area. Mick
