Remembered Today:

Liverpool Regt casualty from Wales

Hi all,

To snare an RMLI trio I recently acquired a pair to the Liverpool Regt, well outside my normal sphere of operations. He is 93774 L/Cpl Evan George DAVIES from Ammanford who, it turns out, died of his wounds 29/9/18 aged just 19. I found a few details and a photo of his grave on a Carmarthen County War Memorial website. I didn't know if there was an expert who might know if there is anything else to be gleaned on him, for example if the local papers might have carried anything on his death?

Many thanks,

Dom

Dom,

The website is mine, but I don't have any more information than what is on there. However, if you ever want to sell the medals...!

If you want a higher resolution photo of his grave, drop me an e-mail through the link on the website.
