I've been researching 2 brothers in the   1/4 Seaforths

Donald D Davidson my grandfather Service numbers 1784, 200270  Lance Sergeant known as Donny or Don injured and went back about may 1917

and Alex James Davidson Service number 1835 known as Algy a stretcher bearer injured at the Battle of Neuve-Chapelle then killed on 9th April, 1917 in the Battle of Arras

there may also haven 2 other brothers Murray and Douglas Dewar Davidson although i believe they may be in different regiments.

I have found mention of them in both

http://www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/Last-Man-Standing-Paperback/p/3443 and

https://www.amazon.co.uk/BATTALION-HIGHLANDERS-Fencibles-Volunteers-Battalions/dp/1843426595 both very informative also http://www.rossandcromartyheritage.org/communit/p37/ht/hy/Seaforths/p37_ht_hy04.html

http://www.rossandcromartyheritage.org/communit/p37/ht/hy/Seaforths/p37_ht_hy03.html online articles taken from book above

but i still can not find any reference to when, or how Donald D Davidson was injured

any help would be grat but i recamend the above books to any beginners like myself
