Were recruiting offices open on Sunday, in 1914?

Pals,

I have the attestation pages of a man who joined up on 13 September 1914 in Dublin. An online calendar indicates that 13 September 1914 was a Sunday. Does any pal happen to know if, at least following the outbreak of war, recruiting offices were open on Sundays, or is it more likely that the person filling out the form got the date wrong?

Thanks,

Oak

I'm sure that there must have been some clerical errors (almost certain given the numbers involved) but I wonder if he might have gone to a barracks (like the Royal Barracks in Dublin) which I suspect may have been open 24/7
