KIRKY Posted 17 July , 2012 Author Share Posted 17 July , 2012 Thanks Steven, any other books with walks involved of the area? Tony
Jack Sheldon Posted 17 July , 2012 Share Posted 17 July , 2012 Do not forget Ray Westlake's British Battalions on the Somme. This provides a compressed version of dates and places for all four battalions in two pages. You can then choose your walks. It is worth rememberering that none of them arrived in the area before the end of July 1916, so you will be looking at the later battles.
