RedCoat Posted 14 July , 2012 Share Posted 14 July , 2012 Hello there, Having forgotten to ask this many moons ago i thought i would post it today. My Great Grandfather P.D. Desbrow was seconded for work under The Ministry Of Munitions. I understand he was brought back from France having been gassed early in 1916 then in september 1916 being seconded. My question is, what kind of work would a Captain do whilst with the "MOM"? Its a fair sized part of his war career that remains a mistry as he didnt return to france until 1918.
