centurion Posted 17 June , 2012 Share Posted 17 June , 2012 On the Antiques RS tonight there was an item regarding a WW2 scheme which had originally run in WW1. Soldiers completed a request form giving the names and address of loved ones and an amateur volunteer photographer would call round and take snapshots in the home envirinment which were developed and printed and sent out to the soldier. Although all the examples were WW2 it was clearly stated that the same scheme had been run in WW1. It's a new one on me - has anyone come across this as operated in WW1?
