Im no expert on MM non commemorated lads. Thanks for any help. Ady
chrisharley9 Posted 6 June , 2012 Share Posted 6 June , 2012 Hi Ady I afraid he will not qualify due to his cause of death not being the result of additional war risks; I cannot possibly say why one member of the MN crew was recognised which I find very odd Cheers Chris
mmm45 Posted 6 June , 2012 Author Share Posted 6 June , 2012 Yes very strange and unfair if one lad gets recognised and one doesnt in the same incident......I suspected not however I then found the other guys were on CWGC so maybe something in their terms of service or they just got a lucky scrutineer on the BOT Panel? George Trengrove was in his 50s and cant find any RN Docs for him....Seems like it was luck of draw with MM Ady
