GREENER was killed while Nelson Battalion were holding the former French trenches on the right of the line at Helles. He had been wounded at Anzac in the previous May and had only been back with the Nelsons for a month.

MARCH was missing in action (assumed killed) during the Nelson Battalion attack on Gavrelle.

SIMPSON was killed when Hood reinforcements were sent forward during the RND attack towards Miraumont.
