I note that the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop (on the Andover to Salisbury Road) have a notice of some commemoration of the formation of the RFC May 12th.

Royal Flying Corps Centenary Event

FREE EVENT Saturday 12th May 2012 10am - 4.30pm

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Flying Corps the museum is hosting a one day celebration event.

Entrance to the museum displays will be free.
