Excellent work by all concerned.

Can you clarify something for me; the Boy Harrison who committed suicide, aged 17 in 1921, how old was he when he first served ?

Steve

Boy Harrison's service record shows that he joined on 10.04.21 - not long before his suicide.

His birth date was 16.10.03 (Oddly, 16th October is also my own birthday)

An odd one here

Stoker Seedie ALI ABDU

Royal Navy, HM Tug Enterprise

Died 04.08.18

Commemorated: Chatby Memorial, Egypt

Using the Royal Navy and Royal Marine War Graves Roll, 1914-1919 on Ancestry I found that he had been buried at Mohammedan Cem, Khat-ol-nar, Mr Hadra, Alexandria, Egypt.

CWGC have accepted this; however this cemetery is no longer maintainable so for the meantime his commemoration has been moved to UK BOR as the Chatby Memorial is only for those lost at sea. He should in time receive a special memorial in a CWGC Cemetery
