The 149th Siege Battery was formed 22nd May 1916 in Hartlepool from a nucleus the Durham RGA.

Does anyone know what gun they were equipped with ?

Any other information on deployments would be welcomed.

Ian,

149 SB went out to the WF 21.8.1916, with armament of 4 x 6in Hows (26 cwt, mechanised). Initially joining 3 HAG on the 28th. The battery was made up to 6 guns in Feb 1918 with a section joining from 448 SB, by which time it was a component battery of 67 HAG (Bde).
