However, the bit about handing in all guns, etc is true. It happened at Taminnes and the Germans promptly shot the mayor for having a cache of guns! Cnock Posted 28 February , 2012 Share Posted 28 February , 2012 Hi, In all occupied Belgian towns/villages, peopele had to give in their weapons (even longbows), munition, wireless app, also foto cameras, etc. Possession of pigeons was also forbidden, and equal to the possession of fire arms.
