Stumbled onto this site while looking for something else http://www.lightbobs.com/index.html - a history of 2nd Bn. and the Buckinghamshire Bn., based on the Regimental Chronicles of the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Just took a look at the record for 1914 and it is quite detailed (about fifty pages worth). Searched to see if this site had been reported before but didn't find anything, looks like it has been online since the end of 2011.

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I have only just found your post.

The Lightbobs website is my first attempt at setting up a website.

I hope you found what you were looking for.

I have only added the 2OBLI pages during February and am always adding new content so please revisit.

Regards

Steve

Steve,

You are doing an excellent job with the website, keep up the good work. I am always on the lookout for early BEF subjects, that's why your page caught my eye, can't really remember what I was originally searching for!
