I recently came across this silk bookmark, commemorating Pte David Miller of the 7th South Lancashire Regiment.

Can anyone help with any extra information?

According to SDGW Pte David Miller 2658 Died of Wounds. He was Born: Leicester Enlisted: Warrington Lancs and Res: Sheffield.

Hi Ray,

I have had a look in City of Sheffield Roll of Honour. Pte David Miller is not listed with this regiment (see below). I dont why this should be.

Also see this link HERE it gives a different address to the on on the silk.
