Seeking any info again or scan of the area around the village of Naves, trying to gain a perspective of an attack conducted by the 1/6th West Yorks around the 11th October 1918.

The war diary gives several map references and reads, The Objectives were to be Railway O28 A + B + Haspres (distant village), at 11.00pm the battalion moved of to reach the village of Naves, the assemblies were carried out quietly and in good order A+B Coys along the road in T12 D, C Coy filed behind and D Coy HQ in the dry river bed of the river ERCLIN about T 18 DAny help very much appreciated, Geoff

Sorry but the NA British Trench Map Atlas does not extend to that area. (All the villages mentioned can be viewed on google earth)

The map below is a hand-drawn reproduction that was found in the History of 1/4th Duke of Wellington's, which was in the same division, 49th, as the 1/6th W Yorks

The scale of the map is such that it is 2mls as the crow flies from Naves to Iwuy (NNE)

From the same source, showing the 146th Bde line (1/6th WYR was part of 146th Bde) on 11th October 1918:
