SFayers Posted 28 July , 2004 Share Posted 28 July , 2004 Hi folks, Just a quicky. I have a BWM and Victory medal pair, both of these lack ribbons (for which I've just bought some replacements). My problem is that the bar / attachment for the ribbon on the BWM has sheared off and been lost at some point (sorry I don't know the proper term for this part of the medal) with only the claw(?) and rivet remaining attached to the medal. Can anyone recommend a company / person who specialises in repairing medals that may be able to help me out here? At the moment I live in Aberdeen, Scotland, but anyone based elsewhere in the UK would be good! Best regards Steve

Mark Abbott Posted 29 July , 2004 Share Posted 29 July , 2004 I would recommend Chris Dixon of CJ & AJ Dixon Ltd. 01262 676877. Chris has undertaken several repairs for me and each has been first class. Mark
