U110 - Otto Schatt

In an earlier post I wrote about a grave I found out about in the outer Hebrides to Obermachinist Otto Schatt of U110-after several email to the Volksbund and the records office in Berlin it has now been assertained that up to this point Otto has had no known grave. The Volksbund have contacted the CWGC and the local rep is going to see the site and then a descion will be made wether to move the grave to Cannock Chase or if he still has living relatives to send him home- so after 86 years a lost Ubootmann may be coming home from patrol. Thanks to the people who responded to my request for info on this
