I'd seen the Telegraph article, and scampered over here to see if Broomers had flagged it up. Good stuff. I was surprised that the lad featured in the Teleghraph article won the MM for rerieving a wounded horse under fire, so that it might be humanely destroyed. I didn't think medals were awarded unless human life was involved. Still, much impressed by his actions, and at such an age.
