He married a girl from Thirsk.

I have been led to believe this is where they met during the War.

He was from Garmouth near Elgin.

Was any particular unit of the Gordons near Thirsk 1914-18

Peter,

Kenneth was seconded to the Royal Flying Corps in 1918, as stated in the Gazette. You will find his RFC/RAF records at Documentsonline at the National Archives {for a small fee of £3.50}. They are listed under 'RAF Officers Service Records 1918-19'.

Many thanks Alf.

I always seem to forget the National Archives or some other avenue of research.

Sometimes a simple search shows nothing and I give up.

Could anyone give an interpretation of these
