wiking85 Posted 3 December , 2011 Posted 3 December , 2011 I've seen reference to a German raid on the Dover Barrage, but cannot find information online about it. Apparently 21 ships were sunk by the Germans, including an old cruiser. What was the goal and were there any German losses? I know also that the Naval Corps in Flanders asked for the raid, if that helps.
horatio2 Posted 3 December , 2011 Posted 3 December , 2011 The attack took place on the night of 14/15 February by a force of seven German destroyers. Seven Admiralty drifters were lost and one Admiralty trawler. No cruiser was sunk.
