Khaki Posted 29 November , 2011 Share Posted 29 November , 2011 I have been told that embroidered post cards were manufactured for sale (by nuns) to British troops, if this is true they must have had a very organised manufacturing structure, however what interests me is, were they available to others?, I haven't seen any made for Indian troops for example. Also considering the ones I have seen they were all made in the allied controlled area (flags, regiments etc). Were similar cards made on the other side of the wire? I have never seen any made for German useage. khaki
SommeTrenches Posted 1 January , 2012 Share Posted 1 January , 2012 I would think anywhere they were available they could be purchased, and I wonder if the Germans just used paper instead due to shortages?
