Chris Noble Posted 29 November , 2011 Posted 29 November , 2011 Can anybody provide me the location of this unit on the above dates to quantify some anomalies located in the War Diary of the 10th Hussars, 3rd Cavalry Division. Best wishes. Chris.
Steven Broomfield Posted 30 November , 2011 Posted 30 November , 2011 Chris, I have the regimental history at home, so I'll look this evening if no-one gets there first. Incidentally, it's Dragoon Guards: there were no 4th Dragoons - 1st (Royal), 2nd (Scots Greys) and 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons only.
Chris Noble Posted 30 November , 2011 Author Posted 30 November , 2011 Hello Steven. If you would be so kind and many thanks for the correction as regards regimental designation. Best wishes. Chris.
Steven Broomfield Posted 1 December , 2011 Posted 1 December , 2011 Chris: arrived Ypres 10th November, then in and out of the Line. If you PM me an e-mail, I'll scan it - it's only three pages but a bit difficult to paraphrase. Incidentally, I also looked in the 10th Hussars history, and that's very brief - in and out of trenches in the Zillebeke area.
