danbetis Posted 23 November , 2011 Share Posted 23 November , 2011 Hi all Im doing some research at RFC Yatesbury and amongst the finds we uncovered a number of General Service buttons - these were found at the earliest part of the airfield where there were temporary bessonneau hangars and a tented encampment - Im trying to work out whether the RFC ncos, rank and file etc.... would have worn General Service buttons - or could these buttons represents other army units that were at the airfield as part of the construction etc...
