derekspiers Posted 22 November , 2011 Posted 22 November , 2011 I need to consult the Official History volume about the West African campaigns. Does anyone know if a copy is available for reference in any Library in the North of England? Preferably Yorkshire. Thanks
keithfazzani Posted 22 November , 2011 Posted 22 November , 2011 Your own library should be able to get you a copy under the interlibrary loan system.
Tim Lynch Posted 31 December , 2011 Posted 31 December , 2011 Hi As you're Yorkshire based, a good bet would be the British Library at Wetherby, not just for the Official History version but also for other accounts. It's just off the A1 and easy to get access to. Their catalogue is at http://catalogue.bl.uk/F/?func=file&file_name=login-bl-list or you can just put British Library into your search engine. They have copying facilities in the reading rooms and will be able to borrow books from the central British Library much faster than your local one can. Good luck with your research Tim
