I am trying to research these three soldiers:

  • Rifleman Frank Edwin Sinden (8th Battallion, 41st Rifle Brigade) reg. number S/8594
  • Private John O'Reilly (18th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers) reg. number 46734
  • Corporal Herbert George Spencer (2ndBrigade Machine Gun Company, 5th Battalion, 13th Reinforcement, Australian Army) reg. number 4290

They all died and are buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery. I would really appreciate any further information on these men. Thank you!

Thank you! That's very useful!

One thing:

If it's any guide, 222769 Edward James attested in the RE in Cork in January 1917.

Is that an Edward James O'Reilly?

Thanks again and any further information would be great!
