geofffox Posted 20 November , 2011 Posted 20 November , 2011 Hi All Could anyone tell me what the abbreviation B C W means. I've come across it in a letter from a Staff Captain, No. 5 Regimental District, Northern Command, to an Adjutant serving with a Special Reserve battalion in August 1914? The letter is telling the officer to mobilize 'when you get the order from B C W'. I was wondering if they are the initials of a senior officer? Regards Geoff
