Hi,

I am looking for a foto of Lt. Raplh Luxmore CURTIS (15 victories), 48 Sqn, dow 21/9/1917

Hello Crock,

There is a photo of Ralph on Ancestry, in the section on 'Great Britain, Royal Aero Club Aviators' Certificates, 1910-1950'. He gained his pilot's license on 17th February, 1917.

Cnock,

Although Ralph died in 1917, and the RAF wasn't formed until April 1918, there are service records available at documentsonline, at The National Archives, for 'R.L. Curtis'. There is a good chance this is your man, since the RAF seems to have taken over some RFC records, possibly for the purpose of pensions and medal awards. There are 3 pages of these records.
