Guest paul1970 Posted 14 November , 2011 Posted 14 November , 2011 Hello Everyone Is it possible anyone can please help me, i am trying to do some research on my Grandad. His name is Sjt John Henry Nuttall, he fought in ww1 and was awarded the dcm along with other medals, he belonged to the 10th reg tank core...The medals all got split up but my mother still has the dcm which 1 day will be passed on to me.What i really want to find out is what he was awarded it for as he never or didnt want to speak about it,my mother told me it was for driving a tank through a mine field and rescuing some soldiers who were under enemy fire, but i would really love to have this in black and white..any help as to where to start to look would be very appreciated Thankyou Paul......
