Guest WalterNewman Posted 13 November , 2011 Posted 13 November , 2011 Action Taken "List LT 742" appears on the Index Card I have found for my Uncle who was gassed badly in the Gt. War but what does that mean please? It also says Cause of Discharge: Para 392 (XLI) Wounds KR Age 23 Alfred George NEWMAN was discharged on 18/9/1917 because of this. He originally signed with the Essex Reg. but at time of discharge was with the Glouc. Reg. 4th Bn and I wonder where he may have been wounded or gassed. Many thanks for any help.
