Soldier's occupation

Hi,

This WW1 soldier's Attestation paper from 1900 has his pre-service employment as usual, but I can't read it. There are no other versions of this information in his slim file.

He was a native of Oldbury, Worcs. if that's any help. Suggestions welcomed folks.

PLUMER? (also known as a Plumassier)

He would have made/sold ornamental plumes or feathers.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, your guesses are as good as any I've made. It's slightly comforting to think that it isn't something glaringly obvious!
