jainvince Posted 31 October , 2011 Share Posted 31 October , 2011 A local soldier, Wilfred Reeves was in the 1st KRRC at the Battle of Festubert in May 1915 and I am trying to identify his location (see post http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=168412&st=0&p=1638908&fromsearch=1entry1638908). The book on Aubers Ridge includes a map but in my copy it isn't clear. Can any member provide a better map, please? Any photographs would also be interesting as they would help illustrate a talk I am giving. Bernard

Unfortunately it is 6.17 MB, so a little large for transmitting to the GWF. Is the map intended for viewing on a projection machine or for printing off? I could reduce it but it will lose all the detail. Alternatively you could PM me with your email address.........
