Remembered Today:

1st Bn. Lancashire Fusiliers

Neil Drum and myself are currently engaged in writing further Great War accounts of various Lancashire Fusilier battalions. The next title that will be published following our recent 'God's Own - 1st Salford Pals' will be '1915 -All Hell Let Loose' about the 1/7th (Salford) battalion.

In researching other stories of the former regiment we are also turning our attention to the 1st Battalion re; Original 'Lancashire Landing' men, who where present on the '6 V.C.'s Before Breakfast' amphibious assault at Cape Helles, Gallipoli.

We would love to hear from anyone who could help us with photos, documents or research material that has previously not been published relating to this area of research.

Many thanks

Wishing God speed and safe return to our friends in The Gulf with 1st Bn. RRF
