Identify Uniform Please

Hi all

Can anyone identify this uniform.

All I have is the mans name is THOMAS TAYLOR. He is from Liverpool and he died in WW1. Dont know where or when? hoping to identy his regiment and search for him.

I dont understand Army stripes sorry.

Are those Seargeant stripes on his arm?

The stripes are those of a Corporal.

There is not a lot to go on but I would guess the RHA or RFA even though the shoulder title looks like a star shape because of the angle.

Thank you all. The 1917 soldier does look like its him.

What is the holster for that he is wearing around his chest in the photo?

It is an ammunition pouch.

The 1917 casualty does look a very strong candidate. According to his MIC he entered F&F on 28 November 1915 and was a Bombardier (two stripes) at that stage.
