Nice that the Rhodesian UDI Conflict was more black and white (pardon the pun) than tackling PIRA in his opinion: obviously doesn't take into account that half of Ian Smith's security forces were black Rhodesians, nor that even though the 'oppresors' they did a very good job of winning hearts and minds of the outlying populations, who must obviously have been easily distinguishable from Frelimo, ZANU etc. I suppose Vietnam and Iraq are clear cut as well... Wonder whether we should email and ask about his service history. I know of people who should be able to verify his awards from the medal rolls, especially since one is a gallantry award. Break out the violins; hammer large pieces of crooked wood across the windows! It will break his heart even more when no-one bids on them.
