Guest nanny choo Posted 5 September , 2011 Share Posted 5 September , 2011 This is my first post and I wonder if anybody has any information or photographs concerning Royds Hall, Huddersfield when it was turned over for use as a Military Hospital in the first world war. I am doing some research into a James Jamieson Hutchison who was with the Royal Scots Regiment and sent to Royds Hall to recover after being wounded. Would appreciate any help. Thank you. dfaulder Posted 5 September , 2011 Share Posted 5 September , 2011 Rolos, Welcome to the Forum. I presume you already have the modern-day site: http://www.roydshall.org/ which makes reference (on its anniversary pages) to being a miltary hospital. Contacting them directly may yield what you want. HTH David
