This is my first post and I wonder if anybody has any information or photographs concerning Royds Hall, Huddersfield when it was turned over for use as a Military Hospital in the first world war.

I am doing some research into a James Jamieson Hutchison who was with the Royal Scots Regiment and sent to Royds Hall to recover after being wounded.

Would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Rolos,

Welcome to the Forum. I presume you already have the modern-day site: http://www.roydshall.org/ which makes reference (on its anniversary pages) to being a miltary hospital. Contacting them directly may yield what you want.
