Thanks for posting PBI. Any idea what the the inscription says?

My initial reaction was surprise at the small amount of damage, but on closer examination it looks as if it's been pieced together from fragments like a 3D jigsaw, with the shellheads possibly added for affect, regardless of whether that is the case, it's an interesting memorial.

Hello Nigel,i recall that the Inscriptions were of Names,wether they were of Battle Casualties from the Men of the Village or Civilians killed during the war i am not so sure..Next time i am out there i will examine the Memorial more closely.Maybe the memorial was constructed from what was left of the Prevoius Church ?....Regards Russ.
