Terry Posted 15 July , 2004 Author Share Posted 15 July , 2004 A friend of mine who is a service corps collector came up with the thought that the fellow's unit was the Meerut Divisional Supply Column. There was indeed such a unit (and a Lahore Divisional Supply Column) so this seems to be a reasonably good guess. His date of arrival in F/F is 23 Sept.,1914, and I think the Indian Corps arrived around 26 Sept., so he may have been in an advance party.
