Does anyone have a picture they could share of either Lt. John Westacott, 2nd Canadian Tunnelling Company or Maj. Cecil Cropper, 250th Tunnelling Company?

Regards,

Greg

Did you ever locate a photo of Lt John Wannacott? I am looking for one as we are naming a bursary after him and would like to illustrate the certificate with a photo.

That's a great photo of Maj Cropper....now if I could only find one of Lt Westacott.

Welcome to the forum.

Have you tried newspaper archives?

Unfortunately, his Canadian 'Home Town" is not clear from his Service File. Enlisted in Toronto but that may not have been home town.  See a reference to SiouX Lookout and he had previous Militia  service in Alberta.

Working now to try to identify home town.
