Guest Samantha JF Posted 7 February , 2012 Share Posted 7 February , 2012 I bought two WW1 medals recently because they bore the family name. My grandfathers medals went 'missing' years ago and I would love them as I have everything else of his. Does anyone know if there is a lost medal site or anything like that where I could try and trace them and possibly buy them back?
Ken Lees Posted 7 February , 2012 Share Posted 7 February , 2012 Samantha, A few suggestions: Try the British Medal Forum - http://www.britishmedalforum.com/ - plenty of eyes there that regularly scan the available sources and you can register your interest there. Medal Tracker - a service offered by Token Publishing, the publishers of the Medal News magazine - http://www.medaltracker.com/about.asp Finally, set up a search on Ebay. It's quite straightforward to do but if you have any difficulty, let us know on this thread and I will provide instructions. Good luck.
