corisande Posted 28 June , 2011 Share Posted 28 June , 2011 From your own info Medals issued 17 July 1922 Address : C/O MacLean Publishing Co. (PO Box 368) 153 University Avenue, Toronto, Canada It appears that he went back to Canada after WW1, having presumably enjoyed his brief sojourn there during the war. He then appears as a RCAF Wing-Commander landing in New York in 1944 He obviously joined RCAF at some point, I don't know enough about their records, but you could try Canadian sub forum on Rootschat, whom I have always found very helpful The fact that he landed in USA in WW2 implies that he was on government business

corisande Posted 28 June , 2011 Share Posted 28 June , 2011 He seems to have been a very able man, got to Major with Connaught Rangers, and later Wing Commander RCAF I have tried unsuccessfully to get anything on the RCAF You could try adding to that other thread on Air sub-forum a specific question on RCAF - someone there might know how to get more on his RCAF days
