Researching my gf who I believe served in India I would think in Artillery as when he enliseted in aug/sep 1914 he was posted to the RGA and went to the WF 4 Oct 1914. date of Birth 28 Dec 1884 he was out of the army when he married in April 1914. Would he have been entitled to any service medals for India if so where could I find the records. Am unable to find his service records.

If in the Army Pre 1914 he could have earned the IGS 1908 Clasp NWF 1908; & immediately after WW1 NWF Afghanistan,1919,NWF Various Date up to 1924[or beyond if he stayed in}Malabar 1922,Mashud ,etc,The Medal Rolls for each Clasp Would need to be Consulted @ the National Archive,The WW1 Medal Index Cards On Line Might Show Earlier entitlement,if he is among those currently listed.
