Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 18 March , 2003 Share Posted 18 March , 2003 Saw on the homepage of the website that today in 1916 the RDC was formed. Does anyone know of any publication that deals with their role during WW1. I know they were used on coastal defence and POW guarding duties to name but a few, however something definative would be useful. Ta, Ian
charlesmessenger Posted 18 March , 2003 Share Posted 18 March , 2003 Ian I have done some research on the RDC, but have not come across any definitive publication. However, if you use the Forum's search engine and type in Royal Defence Corps, you will come across a posting by me on 17 Dec under the topic Home Guard. This gives a potted history, but if you have further specific questions please e-mail me. Charles M
