Apologies if it is in another thread, but can someone enlighten me as to where West Ford Red Cross Hospital was ?

Many Thanks

The only one that seems to come remotely close is Westford Auxiliary Hospital, Droitwich. It was a small (26 bedded) hospital, specialising in caring for men with myalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Droitwich seems unique (or perhaps not?) in that it had three hospitals, all of a similar size, and all with the same rather individual specialty. I guess this arises from it being a Spa town.

Thanks for that Sue. It sounds about right. I have a picture with approx 30 men wearing the hospital jackets etc (some with variations might be staff) and none of them look to have significant battle injuries (arms, legs etc). I will investigate further.
