Remembered Today:

International corner

Recommended Posts

My battery of interest went to rest camp 'near International corner' on 10th Sept 1917. They had been fighting around Boesinghe and Langemark.

I can't find International corner on my maps for 1917 - although I do accept it may be time to consider reading glasses.

Does anyone know of it or indeed the rest camp?

thank you kindly.

Tom

Thanks for posting that link. What a shame the sign is no longer with us.

Thanks chaps - my poor failing eyes - I can see it now on my maps, well now you both pointed it out anyway.

I'm assuming, always dangerous, that camp J may have been the rest camp in question.
