I had a look in SDGW and there was a Driver T4/275698 Frederick Bullimore, Royal Army Service Corps. Born & Enlisted in Leeds, Residence- Oakham. Died: 21 Feb 1917.

The service number indicates a member of the RA from the 1939-45 period.

The number block for the RA (including field branch, coastal branch and anti-aircraft branch) between this period was 721001 to 1842000.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you'll find many (if any) 7 digit service numbers from 1914-18.
